Noah’s Ark Development, a thirty-year self storage veteran headquartered in San Antonio, is pleased to announce the construction of its newest Noah’s Ark Self Storage & RV Parking located near the intersection of FM 1516 and IH 10 in San Antonio. Construction will begin late in the second quarter of this year. Noah’s Ark has developed more than 50 self storage facilities since 1990. This project is one of several planned in the Texas, Florida, Louisiana and Colorado markets.
NDS Construction, also based in San Antonio, will assist in the final facility design and act as the general contractor. Since 1983, NDS has designed / built over 200 self storage complexes throughout the U.S. Other NDS Construction clients include REIT’s such as Public Storage, Shurgard, Sovran and Storage Mart, as well as a number of independent self storage developers and operators.
The Noah’s Ark / NDS Construction team will be building their trademark customer-first perspective into a cutting-edge self storage and RV/Boat storage facility. The new property will include both non-climate control and climate control units as well as open, canopied and fully enclosed RV/Boat spaces. Other RV/Boat amenities include electrical hook-ups, a battery recharge area and waste disposal station. The property is completely fenced,has coded entry/exit control with a state of the art monitored surveillance system. Climate controlled buildings employ intercoms to the office and motion-sensitive lighting. Noah’s Ark also provides dollies and loading carts for patrons’ use and a selection of locks, boxes, packing and storage materials are available for purchase.
