Angie Kleinschmidt, Vice President of Operations of Joshua Management in Bulverde, Texas, is the 2009 recipient of the Comal County Guardian Angel Volunteer of the Year Award. Ms. Kleinschmidt has been with the company for ten years. Joshua Management provides third-party self storage facility management, new store startups, owner/employee training, marketing, independent auditing and management consulting to the self storage industry across the county.
The award, given to a volunteer (non-paid) working with a non-profit agency, was presented to Ms. Kleinschmidt at the annual Child Abuse Prevention and Awareness Month kick-off luncheon on April 3, 2009.
On her day off, Angie volunteers her time at the center doing whatever is needed. She solicited sponsorships and volunteers for the Children’s Advocacy awareness and fundraising events. On the evening of February 12, Angie corralled family and coworker volunteers to fill 4,000 helium Mylar Valentine balloons and for the following day, recruited Joshua Management and Parham Group staff to sell the balloons to the generous employees at the Scooter Store headquarters in New Braunfels, Texas. She rallied yet another team of family and Joshua personnel to manage and participate in the 5k Valentine Day Event at Landa Park in New Braunfels, Texas.
Besides her commitment to the CACCC, Kleinschmidt also volunteers time to the Canyon FFA chapter. Because of Angie’s hard work and dedication, she was awarded the CAC Volunteer of the Year Award.
